Description and principle of operation:
Gradual
lifting of cutting plate causes fluent flow increase up to complete
penstock opening and full gauge flow. It can be done manually or by
electric drive.
Penstock is made of stainless steel and can be
used in channel with width from 300 to 2000 mm. Assembly consists on
entering penstock into prepared recess in concrete channel and its
concrete embedment. Penstocks can be equipped with manual drive with
hand wheel or electric drive with mechanic transmission. Control of
electric drive can be done from place of installation or from central
dispatch room.
Technical parameters:
Chamber penstock type ZKE is desined for liquid flow regulation in channel located on high depth or where penstock's frame is located below floor level (well, chamber, etc.).
